HORTSON holds Council Meeting

The Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON) held her council meeting at the Institute on October 04, 2021. The annual event was hosted by the Institute to fine-tune the necessary machineries ahead of the forth-coming conference that would be hosted by the Institute from November 14 to 18, 2021. As is typical of our amiable Executive Director, Dr. Patrick Adebola, he graced the occasion and assured the organisers of maximum cooperation throughout the conference. The ED, being a man of foresight, had renovated the venue of the opening ceremony of the conference to a befitting standard; he had also massed force to complete the 1000 seater conference hall, but was impeded by paucity of fund.
The Local Organising Chairman of the HORTSON Conference, Dr. Rotimi Ipinmoroti and an outgone President in Council (PIC) of the Society, Dr. Henry Akintoye, were full of praises to the ED for his unrelenting efforts towards the success of the forth-coming conference and the structural transformations of the Institute.
